Living in Astoria, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when our government abandons its responsibilities to our communities. We need to get New York working again. We need a new vision and new leadership to restore our government. I've spent my career fixing broken governments. My work as a civil rights lawyer has given children who were trapped in unsafe government foster care systems a chance to grow up in safe homes and go to college. Now I'm standing up to bring the voice of the people back to our government and I'm asking you to stand with me.
